Help is available to get your dog or cat spayed
or neutered.
There
is a great problem in Roswell with pet overpopulation.
Each year over 4,000 dogs and cats are "put
to sleep" in this city. We need your
help to stop the endless supply of unwanted
puppies and kittens.
Please consider getting your dog and cat spayed
or neutered. Financial help is available.

CAT Spay/Neuter Program
There is a fund available through
the Roswell Humane Society to pay for your
cat to be spayed or neutered. All you need
to do is to make an appointment with a Roswell
veterinarian and the paperwork will be taken
care of by the veterinarian's office. The
spay or neuter will not cost you anything.
Ear notching is mandatory. Any expenses
beyond the spay or neuter will be your responsibility.
This program is available to Chaves County
residents only. Make the appointment for your
cat before spring!

DOG Spay/Neuter Program
The Roswell Humane Society conducts a weekly
drawing for ten vouchers worth $100 toward
the cost of canine spay/neuter. You must fill
out a post card with your name, address, and
contact phone number. The post card must be
taken or mailed to the Roswell Humane Society
at 703 East McGaffey, Roswell, NM 88203. Staff
from the Humane Society will call you when
your name is drawn and they will have the
voucher ready for you to pick up. Make an
appointment for your dog with a Roswell veterinarian
when you have the voucher and remember that
the voucher is only good for one month. Any
charges beyond the $100 will be your responsibility.
This program is only available to Chaves County
residents. Please make a difference in your
pet's life and prevent more unwanted puppies
from being born.
