Bill's Itty Bitty Bipe This is the beginning of a documentary of how to fit a DA 100 on a small bi-plane. Not really, but it would be the talk if you could. The engine is Jim's DA 100 he brought for show and tell. The RAF club members were thrilled to get to hold the famous DA engine. The Bi-Plane has a story as well. Bill's wife came across a man with this itty bitty bipe for sale. She thought her husband had to have it. It is made of match sticks pop sickle sticks and a hand whittled prop. The prop is connected to a small electric engine and really turns. There was some talk of whether it would fly or not, but they said it would probably get around on floats. |
